I was wondering if you could take the bottomless pit principle and use it to make an endless hallway???
I have a mirror that is 6' tall about 24" or 30" wide, can' t recall exact dimension.
Not that it would be scary but could add some much needed depth to my haunted garage and would be cool. Theme is kinda torture chamber'ish.
2nd thought on this if it works, is I can have a kill switch on the light and a secret door so as guests are viewing it the actor can kill the lights, step in and big scare.
Not sure that would work but a thought.
Any suggestions or additions throw them at me.....

Hey man...first off, where you at, I can help you out. If you are in Milwaukee, I am like 15 min from you.
But the effect should work. I did something similar last year to recreate the Haunted Mansion feel to it.
They key is in the lighting. You need the right light to really pull it off. I do suggest anything from minispotlight.com or darklight.com for resources in that area.

I'm in Waukesha, been haunting more years than I can count. It would be cool to hook up. We did have a group of haunters meet in Mukwango from hauntedwisconsin.com
Any help would be great.
I want to make the butchers table too this year. I need to start building only 5 months away...

Take a look at pictures 84 & 85 of the Transworld 2010 pictures in my albums here (unable to copy on this iPad). Anyways... The Darkness did two endless hallways. One of a hospital hallway and the other of a sewer line. Exact same principle of an endless pit.

I found them. Maybe you checked the 2011 album. Here's a link to the first one, and you can click on Next for the one after that.

There was a killer prop at a haunted house in my town. It was a bottomless pit with a small ledge you had to shimmy across. The problem was the wall pushed you outward toward the pit. On the exit end an endless hallway that looked like this trek was going to take days. Luckly it was only 10 feet until a tight turn led you away. It was in the "Phobia" section of the haunt. Me being afraid of heights, scared the scream out of me. It was an original take on a fan fav.

It doesn't show the pit but you can see people's reactions to one in the video on Erebus' website: http://www.hauntedpontiac.com/
It's about 1:45 in.
