Hi everyone. Here's some pics of my latest mask project.
Im not much into gore, but I recently took a mask painting course and exposed flesh was one of the techniques we covered so I had to give it a try. This was an original clay sculpture, molded in plaster, cast in latex.
It appears to only cover half of your face, but in actuality it covers your entire face and give the illusion of the missing lower half.![]()
Since the photos, I covered the gore in a clear coat that gives it a very wet appearance. I'll photo that last step when I get a chance.

Thanks deoblo, its alot of fun for me. I've been at this type of stuff since around last December. Before that I made a few paper mache masks. Heres a link to my first sculpture and latex mask project if your curious. Thanks again!
