Anyone have any creative ideas of what can be done with an old school over head projector? I was looking for a projector to use with my computer to do the Hallowindows and came across one of these that I can use but don't quite know what to do with it...?

I use mine for murals and such and I build full size props like helicopters, etc. for a couple of the sportsmans clubs I belong to so I use it to transfer my image to get the scaling right, but if you wanted to go big with facade you can use it as an extremely easy way to transfer an image onto a tarp, canvas, plywood, sheets, etc.
Not sure what your setup is like or how much room you have to work with, but outdoors (protected from elements of course) and project an image onto your house (these start to get real fuzzy after about 20 to 30 feet unless its reallllly dark.
Another idea is if you have a big window infront of your house you could project something on it from inside the room. Remember if it has words to flip it over. If you can read it from in the room then those looking at it outside will see it backwards.I dont hate zombies, I just love killin em.

Our theme this year is Zombies so I am looking for ideas on how to make the house, yard, garage all look like it's a grave yard/taken over by zombies. This may work in an upstairs bedroom window...thanks for the idea!

I ONLY do zombie themes. Another suggestion for you, do a google search for zombie silohuettes, print em out *if you make it proportionate on an 8.5x11 paper you can trace this on the projection sheets (I get them at staples) and you only need to be about 6' away from the window to get a lifesize silohuette projected on your window.
If you need any help with ideas feel free to give me a yell.I dont hate zombies, I just love killin em.

There was a member here who made a water pan with globs of red water in oil and because they don't mix, looked like there was blood on the house. Add a fan and you've got movement. Also, you could project images on a tree that I saw another member do that looked great.

The water with the globs of red are a great idea. Also if you could keep them from clumping together in a traffic jam you could put the fake roaches or any other plastic bug in there with the fan blowing them across the water and make it look like giant bugs are crawling across the house.
Another thing you could try if you got REALLLLLLLLLLY creative and have the time. Take the projector out and move it back far enough that you can bask the house with the light without overshooting the sides. Place down a piece of the projection plastic and through trial and error mark out the dimensions (side to side and top to bottom) of the outline of your house. *may also want to mark the spot in your yard where you got the dimensions from, otherwise you will have to keep moving back to do this until you find the right spot.
After you get the rough outline of your house on the plastic sheet you can black out portions or using colored sharpies make it look like fire in the windows, etc. kinda a projected facade of sorts. I know the projectors can do it, but you gotta have near pitch black darkness to pull it off.I dont hate zombies, I just love killin em.
