While checking out the Program Schedule for next weekend's Maker Faire in California, I came across the Live Stage exhibit for hacking toys for robotic control using EZ-Robot. Thought you guys might like to check out the website for EZ-Robot. Has anyone used this to make any props? I'm hoping to get up to the faire to see it. I fall into the Non-programmers category so this has appeal to me after seeing the video on the site. That color object tracking ability would be cool to have your ToTers wear something and have the prop track it with it's eyes for example. That would be very eerie!

I saw that also...I am a little envious on how the West Coast has a lot of cool stuff going on over their. Here in Miami, Fl. you just don't see faire or conventions for these type of activities.
Getting back on topic I'm also in the non-programmer category and that EZ-Builder configurator sure makes it look easy. I wonder if there are features that include DMX. I have been converting all my props to DMX.

I guess the Raleigh NC and NYC ones are the closest for you. But if these take off like the ones here in the SF Bay area did, I would think Florida would be a popular site. Heck it could be like a Disneyland for inventor types.

Never seen it before. But I have done a little of Vb programing before. I might have to check it out.
