I have an idea to utilize the e-cracker group buy going on but I'm not sure how to do it. BTW: I'm not an electrician so please bear with my terminology.
I would like to use the e-Firecrackers set in a fake fuse box. I would then like to have a knife switch that I can toggle and have some kind of light display go off. But, then I would like to have a 5 to 10 second delay and then have the e-Firecrackers go off in the fuse box.
Is there some type of circuit board that can cause a delay after the circuit is closed?

You could do it pretty simply and all electrically with this Time Delay Relay
If you need more control over the sequence you may need to go to a more sophisticated electronic controller. Maybe this. However this one uses low voltage compared to the one above that is all line voltage.
Beyond that are programmable electronic controllers - either through a computer or some can be programed manually.

Sounds like you need a 2 input prop controller. A Picoboo103/JR. will work if you do not want sound. You can program as many delays as you want..up to 2 min.
You can "keybang" the flashing on input 1 and then stop and the e-crackers can pop on input 2. A knife switch is nothing more then a pushbutton so the routine will run its course then stop until you flip it again. Even if you reset the switch right after, it will still run its course until complete.
It is the easiest way to do what you want.

Thanks for the help. I forgot all about prop controllers. I have never used them before so they didn't even come to mind.

I'll have to do some research and see what else they can do before I try to reinvent the wheel again.Muhahaha!!
