Found these mannequin forms , male torso for $13 and female torso for $10.
Other than using them for the obvious (add arms, legs and head) can anyone offer any suggestions on how to display them? Perhaps a dismembered bloody torso in the graveyard or.......????

I have a male and female form similar to yours and I paper-mache over them and then cut them down the sides to remove the original form and then I paper-mache the two halves back together . Instead of using chickenwire, which I hate working with, I use them to fill out the full size props.

I found them at SL Store Fixture Inc. out of Miami.
No minimum required. Bought 4 torsos, hands and a chest & with delivery only spent $86.

I did a small seminar on how to do an autopsy / death wall made from them at a event one year , basically used a dremmel to cave holes in the torso used some hot glue and pieces of foam underlay from laminate flooring, Crumpled the pieces of underlay into the hole then hot glued the edged of the material to the outside of the hole then used a heat gun on the underlay , it will start to melt the underlay , so be carefull on how much heat you use this creates an open wound, you can make ribs or protuding bones sticking out of the torso , one person made a borg type assimulated one which was totally neet especially if you were doing a sci fi room. heres a link to thoses pics you could do a pop out alien out of the stomach??

I took the male form and cut it in half at the waist and built out a dummy half of each with jeans, shirt, shoes, fake hands a styrofoam head and a mask. At the cut halves I used great foam and made entrails as if he was ripped in half. I took 2 ropes and tied them to his hands and legs on one end and put the other ends under 2 seperate cars giving the apperance that he was pulled in half by the cars.
With all manner of moving and talking props this is the one that almost every kid mentions as one of their favorites. My wife finished it off with 2 vultures and police tape around the cars. Easy to build, store and set up.
