I know now is the time when most of us are in the planning stages for 2011. Are you planning on making one prop that you are excited about? Me I won't be doing much this year but I am planning on making an undead bride, maybe a vampire bride. If I can figure out how she will have a red beating heart.

Life is too short to not do what makes us happy, keeps us sane, or both.

I plan on making quite a bit this year! I've only done a yard haunt once, but the only things I made were 2 zombie grandparents and I made my own bloody sheets to hang up. This year I'd like to try and make everything. So I'm looking forward to it all.

Zombie wedding –
04-29-2011,12:26 PM
Every year my wife and I rent a local V.F.W post and turn it into a haunted house and have a party inside for 150 of our closest friends, but this year we are doing the same but we are going to renew our wedding vows with a full zombie church theme going on. Complete with an animatronic skeleton preacher, animatronic skeleton organist, and some animatronic skeleton nuns. I'm waiting for some graveyardskulls to be delivered soon so I can get started. Can't wait

We're hoping it turns out awesome.
We have been planning this for a couple of years now, but we wanted to wait till we knew we could pull it off perfectly. And we think this is going to be the year.

We have just started our homemade props, up until now we just had store bought things. We just finished our first headstone and we have a second one started, along with a cemetery sign and a fence section. This year is devoted to the basics but I am looking forward to the day we have time to make columns, a crank ghost and a fog chiller. Who knows maybe someday we will get into animatronics too and get our skeletons "talking"...so much to learn so little time to do it all.

I've got three stones on the go, plans for two columns but I am most excited to work on two devils coming out of hell holes for my underworld. I am waiting for some wiper motors and for a Molock mask to hit the shelves.
Here's the two new devils to add to my underworld.

This year I plan to make a sculpture of Eyegore's head (Like Marty Feldman from Young Frankenstein) and cast it so it can be used for my mad lab scene.
This will be my first stab at sculpting and casting.
I will animate his head and arms like I had animated my Evil/mad scientist. Eyegore will be simulating the controls while doing the galvanization scene with The Monster of Frankenstein.
