It was 29 bucks, I believe. This prop is typically priced anywhere from 60 to 70 bucks, which I believe is overpriced. At 30-40 bucks, now you're talking sensible. The larger version will be something to consider too, this year.
The original has a timer setting. It displays about every two or three minutes on it's own. I really like that about tekky props- most all of them have a timer setting. Hope the larger version has it too. You can get any sound activated prop to display more frequently by having cd sound tracks on portable players near by. Even a thunder clap cd at specific intervals with the speakers near sound activated props will get them going. I like my props displaying often, so I trigger them this way and it works out great.

The Tekky props will also work with a footpad or, if you're willing to go to the trouble, a microcontroller with a motion sensor. We did that last year, it works great.
