We have an "Adventure theme" Halloween event for families and kids after our Haunt. So I just ordered 2 of these lanterns for our Indiana Jones Area. I thought they looked interesting. I will let you know how they look once they arive, if anyone is interested.

    I ordered them from:

    Those are cool!
Another idea is that you can find a camping lantern at walmart for about 5 dollars and but some spray paint and rust it up a little bit.
Here i posted a thread where i used the lantern...its the second picture...check it out!

Nice Gallows! Yeah I have like 5 of those lanterns you got in the pic.
I was thinking the Railroad lantern has a good World War 2 era look to it.

Haunt@HeritageHill, I like the ones you found! It's neat to be able to find something that fits your theme and isn't too expensive.

Yep, I bookmarked that think for future use!

@darkmaster how does it look with the new LED Light Bulb and the flicker one, where did you get them. I was thinking about changing the bulbs in mine too.

@beggars alley. Thanks, I have to retheme from one night to the next, so I have to find things that can work within different themes.

I also bought these lanterns from shipwreck productions. I got 5, two years ago they are great but $40.00 each. What makes them cool, is that the led light actually shoots down from the top, not from the candle. Its actually a cool effect. I tried to order 5 more this year, but never got a responce from them. Funny thing is I drive past thier whereouse everyday on the way to and from work.

Check this site out. I bought one of the el deluxe flicker lanterns with smoked glass and a cricket sound. It's part of my yard lighting but it will probably make it's way into a haunt this year. Not cheap but super cool. Just like the lights at Disneyland Thunder Mountain.

Those are super cool. Those would look good as an actual part of the park.

    Good ideas here

That's a cool find on that railroad lantern. Could also work good for a haunted mine.

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?
