I'd like to make some stand up zombie props this year. Nothing animatrontic, just simple, stand up zombies in a walking stance. I need ideas on how to build frame in which to put clothes on and make a body. Less expensive the better lol

A pvc frame, styrofoam wig head, mask and hands, thrift store suit and shoes. Simple and cheap, depending on the type of mask/hands you use.

Here's a link to a calculator for the amount of pvc you'll need. I use one inch pvc for mine.

Yes, what you have here is pretty much what I'm imagining. I thought of pvc, but I want something a little less permenant. I don't have much storage so I need to be able to just get rid of the frame (without the guilt of throwing too much $ away)

PVC is perfect for this! You can break it down into pieces, and wrap a zip tie around them, then reassemble when needed. no waste/no space.

    Very cool. Thanks!
Maybe I can just make a simple wooden frame. Originaly I was thinking of just stuffing the clothes with newspaper, but the foam really makes it look more realistic. I may just go with that if it's not to much. I have so much to do this year!

Hmm, I'll look more into it. I just know from every video I've seen, the pvc gets glued together, making it unable to break down

You don't have to glue it. I don't and it will hold a basic pose with no problem.I break my frames down to sticks and a few joints after Halloween and then put them back together. Ideal for someone with storage problems!
