It's not new, I remember seeing it last year. But the price is fair, ( for Spirit) as the ebay listing is exactly the same cost as buying it in the store.

That's kinda wild because I hit Spirit HARD the last few years and didn't have it in my stores....I would have got it instead of the one I got "holding the lantern"....Thanks for the input.....ZR

That first came out in 2008 they had it this year again I think they sold the left over Reapers that didnt sell.

I have never used a reaper in my haunt but I might have to start after seeing him.

I want it! I was looking at the other Spirit Reaper holding the lantern, but he didn't exactly look scary, especially with the lit face.

Yea, some stores are not created equal I noticed. Our store never had a few items that were actually out and plugged in. Or they only ended up getting a few and they were sold out quick.

The Spirit Halloween "consignment" stores only pick and choose what they "think" will sell; whereas most of the better stores have corporate decide what to stock. At least that was my understanding when I asked my local store why the selection was so poor. Consignment stores can suck if the owner doesn't want to stock very many items. It might just be my interpretation of the word "consignment" but to me, doesn't that mean used, or leftovers. In the past the words "second-hand shops" and "consignment stores" were interchangeable. I don't think that's the case case with Spirit's merchandise; At least...I hope it isn't!

That reaper is very impressive in person, built well. I should have bought it a few year ago on sale, but I doubt I'll see it again in my local Spirit ever again.

Things I liked about this one is it actually looks creepy, the sickle, the way it is shredded and stretched out in different directions on the bottom is differnet and really works......Definitely cool!.....ZR
