Just finished my first tombstone of the year.
My goal for 2011 is better "atmosphere" and more animatronics. I Seen a picture of a killer haunt on the forum and thought the talking bust they used would go good with my 2011 goal.
I came up with this design when looking at what I had for a yard and available materials. The post are PVC, the rest is pink foam. When painting and detailing, I tried something different. I did it using a green floodlight for illumination.
I thought my name was unique, then when looking for the bust on line (to buy), I seen someone use it also, oh well. I choose the names as a hidden reference to the bad guys on Rocky and Bullwinkle.
The bell was a late addition, the original plan was a simple spindle from a bed. But the bell came to me.... in a dream! I still shake my head about that one!
The tombstone is going to be illuminated using a green spotlight I bought from Darklight. I really like their lighting, it is modular which is great. The heads will have none due to the available lighting from a street light 30 yards away and a spot light across the street on the neighbors house.
Pretty happy, hope it goes over well. What do you think?

Awesome concept! It will really grab attention on Halloween night! Those busts are great! (love the light as well!)

OOOOOOH I love this!!! I wanted those heads last year and never got them. Now I have a real reason to get them. Hope you dont mind if I steal this idea? I have a reason I wont be the only one
