Hi, all. I'm in the process of trying to figure how to do a version of this:

    http://www.haunteddriveway.com/tombs...eaks_open.html

My question is the pump. Can someone give me a better description of what I need to do. Never tried anything Pneumatic, so it is all French to me. I'm not to sure how much pressure I should use and how I regulate it. Any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You should avoid using anything other then a professional air cylinder, you can pick them up on ebay for almost nothing if you shop around a bit. You don't want a pump that could possible explode causing injury's and damage.
I picked up 3 18 inch pistons a while back for about 12 dollars each.

Other then that since its a light you wont need very much pressure to move it up and down. so you can probably stick with the 30 psi's

Easy pnuematic prop worls much like trash can trama. you need a good sized cylinder with at least a 6 to 9 inch throw fro the tombstone to the broken off part. pm me if you need help through the pricess i am very familiar with these specif props. I get a a regulator for each pnuematic prop i have to REGULATE the air that goes to each prop. Heres what yull need. use this link to buy your parts and supplies for the best price.

you will need a single or double acting cylinder and you decide this like this: say you have a motion sensore as a trigger i would use a single acting cylinder so it walks by to activate the prop to go up and then when it pases it goes down. double acting takes two motions or on a trigger two clicks one to go up and one to do down.

You will also need a solenoid and air hose and fittings that match the port thread size of your cylinder which is why i look for my cylinder first. Say i fing a 1/8'' port size i need to dinf matching polyurethane air hose and fitting for my solenoid. first decide these things then i wil send you links for parts you should consider buying.
any help needed just pm or respond.
