I recently acquired a castle facade for the front of my house. It measures 64' Long, 12' High, and has (2) 17' Tall columns for the ends with windows, etc. The main wall has a draw bridge that I will easily be able to adapt to the front of my house so as to not hinder in/out for daily use as well as emergency.
It is a flat face facade made of 4x8 1/2" plywood with 1" styro attached, the styro was routed out to look like handlaid stones like a castle wall.
My problem....... For the past couple of years I've always haunted with Zombies, zombies and more zombies. I also use my zombies for other local events. I have 83 of them total with another 20 on the assembly table waiting for paint, hair, gore, etc.
I want to use this castle but cant for the life of me think of a good theme. Last years theme was basically a friend of mine wearing bio suit, gas mask and fake AR15 directing people in, carrying the storyline that there was an outbreak, he thinks he got them all, get your candy and get out kinda thing and I was usually in full costume among the others and waiting to pounce.
I'd LOVE to do a homage to Evil Dead Army of Darkness, but Im fairly sure that with the 100 or so kids I average, that 5% of them would get it.
Anyone have any other good theme/storyline ideas I could potentially use or modify to suit my needs?
I will post pics of stuff when the weather breaks and I can set it up on the backside of my house so I dont give away the good stuff yet to the unsuspecting kiddos in the neighborhood.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

"We say haunted, but we mean the house has gone insane."
