Hobby Lobby has mens styrofoam heads but they are sort of expensive at $10. I used the discount coupon that is mailed out occasionaly and got them for $6...you can paint it up anyway you want.

I got my styro heads from Sally Beauty Supply for something like $5.
I have also used a plastic milk jug to do a paper maché head, but if you have a mask, you can do it over that as well.I'm a Halloween Bride! 10/31/2002

alot of people use the Sally's wig heads and put masks on them, or they use celluclay/ paperclay and sculpt their own, if I am reading your question right, you are asking where to get one totally made, right? if so, I don't know of anywhere, the best bet for easy would be a wig head with a mask on it,
I have flying monkeys- and I'm not afraid to use them!

I agree, the simplest way is to use a Sally wig head ( $2 on sale) with a mask. Mrs. Doom finds great ones at Goodwill for next to nothing. Here's a link to my stabbing butcher.

We have always stuffed a full mask with plastic grocery bags and glued dolls in and they always seem to look pretty good.

Just make sure that if you decide to paint the styrofoam head that you do NOT use spray paint. Luckily, I found that out from the members here before I made that mistake.

At Transworld there were several Mask manufacturers who were also selling full size Zombie props. For the full size props, they just used the same masks they were selling. When all put together, the reslults were amazing.

I guess it depends on the type of prop your building. You can make a mache head and sculpt a face with any number of materials, use styrofoam, a cosmetology head, mannequin head, animated heads like the spirit ball ones.
