I like the spiritballs.
But seriously taking the butler slaping some hair and witch costume on him that looks like crap.

Before this thread gets out of hand...there was already a thread for the Gemmy 2011 figures and props.
This thread needs to be closed. Half of the images posted are NOT Gemmy animated figures. Please close this thread or change the name.

Well, I can not close the thread, and the website where I found the pictures indicated they were indeed Gemmy Props (but to think about it, I know Totally Ghoul put out the Butler, so I'm guessing they did the witch too). If a Mod wants to close my thread, they should do so.

It might be best to merge the two thread.
Thank you for changing the thread to remove the non-Gemmy figures! This will greatly help clear up any potential confusion. BTW, whats your opinion of them anway. I really really hate the look of "Flakey Francis", that wedding dress wearing ghoul.

Agreed! I think gemmy has lost it's charm really, and lesser companies have created much better props that cost about the same. These new figures are really lame. To tell ya the truth, I haven't seen anything original from Gemmy in the past 3 years...Just rehashed stuff. The only really new thing to come from the in the past 5 years, was the Spirit Ball, but as you can see in the foto above, even that's been replaced with a similar product.
I was really hoping they'd explore the legends of Halloween, and offer more creepy stuff ( as demanded by the consumers) yet time after time; I'm dissapointed with new and cheap uncreative junk. BUT, that's just my opinion!

I don't understand why the original Cauldron Witch, Donna the Dead, Deadeye Drake, Dr. Shivers, and The Mummy aren't all still being made. They're some of the favorites, and were all well made. Now, all there making are the same prop over and over, in different costumes. Plus, those stupid metal poles offer NO support for the prop. I bought a lifesize Masquerade Skeleton last season, and the poles it comes with hardly keep the prop up.

They just don't care about quality anymore. It doesn't help though when Walmart says "OK I'll buy 5000pcs, but only if I can get them for X amount" In which Gemmy then works to make the figure as cheap as possible to satisfy Walmart's thirst for money, while still trying to maintain their profit margin!
Gemmy used to think outside the box, now they outsource that thinking to Hong Kong...and it gets lost in translation. If it wasn't for their other toys, and the airblown prop market; they wouldn't have such a loyal following. I liked their past products but over the last 3-5 years they've slowly stopped giving a crap and it's showing in their work!
