So first off, this is my first post on this website. I run Haunt on the Hill (http://www.hauntonthehill.com). My question is simple. I have an insane amount of fake rubber bats and no idea what to do with them. In the past I would just hang them in a tree, but I'm sure there's a more creative option. Not sure how many of you have ever been to the Royal Ontario Museum, but they have a bat cave that's pretty creepy and I've thought about attempting something like that but on a much smaller scale. Ideas?

Put a spinning motor in a tree and make a giant batty mobile out of them. Spray them with clear UV reactive paint and aim a blacklight/spotlight at them so they're visible day and night.
Hand them out to trick-or-treaters
Spear a few of 'em on kebab stakes and have a zombie prop chow down on them.
If you have a second floor or high areas where an actor could safely hang out, have them swoop bats on a string into peoples' hair. Make sure the string is easily breakable just in case.
Cut the wings off and put 'em in an old bottle with a Wings of Bat label.

So will the bats be inside (in the garage) or are you trying to figure out a way to use them outside?

I like the motor in a tree, would make it look like they are flying around.
Making the world a funnier place, one blucky at a time
