I'm looking at getting some fog machines to add atmosphere to my graveyard display, which is my entire front yard. I checked the archives and didn't find much useful. So here goes, what do you recommend and why. Thanks in advance.

I'ld recommend Spencers 700W machine with no reservations.
Why: Good quality, my oldest is going on 7 years, comes pre-equipped with a timer remote, and is a lot cheaper than the more fancy machines. (you could get 2 for the price of one of the nicer machines) Ideal time is just after Halloween in the store, they're usually discounted to $20 or less.

I bought the visual effects V-919 this year. Yet to try it out. Comes with a timer, 700 watt and was rated one of the better on some website. Got it on ebay. Good luck. I have been debating this question for quite some time now. Hope I made a smart move. A lot of it also has to do with the juice. Crap juice, crap results. Go with froggys. Hands down the best. Have fun.

How much are you willing to spend? I love my V-950 Superfogger. They run about $300 a pop and they'll cover your yard. Check Coolstuffcheap.com

I have a 11-12yr(not sure if its from '98 or '99) old american DJ 700watt that has been good to me! I originally paid around $89 then and proudly call it "old reliable!"

I bought another 400watt american DJ fog machine but I lent it out for a B-day party and it came back with issues...
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

Money is not an issue. With that said, I don't want to waste it either. I have a fog machine from Spencers but it will only work for a few minutes and nothing. Might be the juice. I will try that. Also, it will not give me the effect I desire, might have to use several machines for that.
The effect I want is of a low lying fog. I know I'll have to chill it. But I want to get a good solid machine that can handle the job.Making the world a funnier place, one blucky at a time

I have 2 the chauvet 900 and the supper fogger v-950. I like the 900 better than the supper fogger I think it puts out more fog and it was allot cheaper. I need to get dmx one now though. Good luck

I love my VEI V-950 Super Fogger. It will fog out my entire block, has an adjustment for fog output and can be set for continuous mode. I have a Chauvet Hurricane 1250 that I've never been happy with and a half dozen of the $20 400W foggers.
I know Corey Minion was demoing some new high-powered fog machines at Transworld. You may want to contact him at minionsweb.com
