I have been making tombstones with funny names and sayings and am looking for help on one more. I want to make the TOT's perform or try a silly trick. For Example:

Kandy Kane

Died while trying to stand on one leg, look up, and lick the back of her left ring finger. (Don't try this, one person has died from it already!)

I am not confident that phrasing it that way would encourage participation.
How would you phrase it and what would you have the TOT's do?

How about something like this:

Hopping on one leg, she raised her eyes to the sky,
licked her left ring finger, and suddenly... DIED.
(Don't try this yourself or you'll make your mom cry!)

Here's my expansion upon your poem....
I think I might incorporate it into my haunt.

Hopping on one leg, hands raised to the sky,
Dancing in circles then suddenly he DIED.
Simon's lesson learned, was a little too late.
Now he shouts from the grave, "Don't imitate!"

R.I.P Simon Says

And then, to expand on the concept further for TOT participation,
you could have a ghostly kids voice yelling out "Simon Says" commands.

Eyegore - "Simon Says" is brilliant, Frankie's Girl - the rhyme scheme is awesome and tying it in with mom...awesome! As you know we love our mom's in Texas! This has been great help.

I made one that said "RIP (insert name)my ex's lawyer who got buried in court"
Got some laughs out of it lol

I love the Simon says idea.. here is my version. But, it may be too long??

Don't do what Simon Says
that's why she rests here now
on one leg, arms raised high
she tried to take a bow

A simple task has caused her death
How? We all do wonder..
She did what Simon said
Now she's six feet under

Bravo! Love it. it might be too long for an epitaph, but It would be funny as a comic illustration.

Little Willy lost his head,
Because he did what Simon said.
He spun around six times or more,
It came right off, and hit the floor!

How to use the long poem:
Maybe you could do a series of tombstones, two lines of the poem on each one. Then have one more, the final one, that says .... Burma Shave.
Just kidding.
