Thread: Standing zombie prop ideas?

Hey everyone,
I plan on building some type of standing animated zombie prop starting with a pvc frame and building a mechanism for it im willing to accpet pnuematic and mechancal ideas but for those of you that might have done a standing prop not nessaserially zombie but something standing that looks creepy im looking for videos pictures or ideas! Cant seem to find anything'

You could easily make it from a Shiatzu massager, youtube has alot of props made from them.

hmm shiatzu massager? i can make it by the torso so it can still be a full prop not just a groundbreaker? Ive never sennd them on a full body prop

Madmax made some standing zombies with a shiatzu massager.

Those are pretty cool! I think ill go with the shiatsu motor!

Hmm i notice that his zombies dont allow for a full body pvc man. Say i want to do a male zombie with pants i need to design it so the motor is in the muddle but he still has a base for legs.. I think i have a general idea of what i will do. probably mount the top half and motor to plywood or plexi glass board and then make a lower half that either stakes in the ground or ataches to bottom of base.
