WIP... this is our first attempt at a headstone... soooo... not bad considering we've never used some of the tools before.
And when I say "we", I mostly mean mom. LOL.
I think we're going to nix the age... and make Sturgeon a bigger font than Elgie.

This is the first time I used any power tools. and I am not really happy with the way the two halves of the headstone line up. I am going to cut out another half tomorrow using one of the halves as a pattern. I have PVC pipe to sandwich between the two layers and my goal is to have it glued together tomorrow. My daughter and I think we may change what the tombstone says too. We may just include a year of birth and death instead of the complete death date. We will post more pictures as this progresses.

Great Job! I am sure it has been a blast doing the project together.
And when you are finished just remember you only will need to make 80-90 more!!

Looks great...I have yet to make a tombstone...which is a definite must for a Halloween Enthusiast =) hoping mine will turn out that good!
