I found two of these at a thrift store near me. They want 9 dollars for each one. Is that a lot or is that what they normally go for? I would love to get a couple and make props but I would love it even more if I didn't over pay for them..
    Thanks for your help!

I have paid between $2 - $3 for mine. Sorry. If you weren't my cuz, I'd rub it in and brag about it. LOL And if it didn't cost $500 (approx) to ship it, I'd send ya one. (ok, a little exaggeration. LOL )
Does the thrift store have any sale days? The one I frequent does a 'half- off everything' day every Monday.

I think 9 is on the high end but again, you don't see them that often and if you figure how many uses you can get out of them, it's really not a bad price. The props I built with mine would easily cost a couple hundred dollars in any Halloween store so it's all relative. Offer 12 for both of them and see if they bite! I'd pay 9 bucks for them if they worked well

9 seems a bit high for used/ thrift store.... I got one at a flea market for 5. Then again... new... they used to run like 30-40! (family bought 1 new, years agoo and paid 35. hasn't been used in years either so now has been upgraded to ground breaker!)
Sooo, kinda high, but still worth it.

Hey Kymmm, I usually pay $45 for a massage, then drop another $50 on the tip, so 9 bucks sounds cheap!
Seriously though, I paid $12 for the last one I bought, so I don't think it's a bad deal.

It would be great for everyone to post the props you've made using these massagers. All the spider victims, grave grabbers, hanging props, etc! I know I, for one, would LOVE to see them!!

I made a grave escape last year. I have another masssager I'm going to make a standing moving zombie. I have some video of it but haven't uploaded it. do a search for shiatsu props and you should see some good ideas.

I just ran a search for "Shiatsu" and got several pages of props. Those things are really versatile. There's a lot of different uses for them, from the classic grave grabber/grave escape to standing zombies that twist at the waist.
    I...have many names...
