yeah... they had a corner booth I believe, they also had it in the interactive haunt and was very impressive, it basically came on for about 3-4 seconds and let out a big scream, had nice sound system attached so I'd give it 2 thumbs up, except for the cost. Hi-Rez on the forum here might be able to make a DVD alot cheaper for us....then we'd have to make the mirror...etc attach the monitor sideways and make it look like a mirror...etc

Sigh....Another extremely cool prop that's out of my $ range....I've been bugging Mike for years to sell me a bust and DVD and let me figure the rest out on my own but he insists on selling as a package deal so unless I hit the lottery or one day just say F*&% it,..It ain't happening.....The problem for me is the $1800 is more than my entire Halloween budget for the year (usually)....I've been hoping to catch a ghost bust for a great price on Ebay but so far it hasn't happened.....Maybe one of these years...I did finally get a Skulltronix last year so it could happen!....Good luck finding an alternative....I'll be in the shadows watching!...ZR

This looks like a supped up version of the "Magic Mirror" puppet, using the same concept only with a pre-recorded video( which I supposed could be burned to dvd). It's more or less just a sideways monitor around a mirror-like frame. Considering that digital picture frames have gone down in price (some of which allow for video/audio) You could probably do it for under $150. Two-way mirror film can be purchased at Lowe's, for added realism. I wouldn't know how to trigger a a dvd player via motion detector, but it would definitely come in handy for this type of effect.

Zombie raider:
I have the ghost bust.
I highly recomend the ghost bust. I know its alot of money. But its worth it. the effect is outstanding. really Top notch stuff. Plus now they are selling it with a better projector. I also highy recomend the blaster to go with it.
Thats why I posted about the Mirror. I wanted to hear first hand accounts of it. I think this Mirro prop is going to be another world class prop.

I hear ya icemanfred....I do love all of the Skulltronix/Night Frights props for sure....I'd love to have the mirror with a ghost host- "welcome foolish mortals" routine....Something along these lines:
Put a top hat on him, make him a ghost and wisps of smoke when he appears and disappears and I'd have a really hard time not ordering one as a grand entrance....Of course you couldn't forget the ultimate accessory from scarefactory as seen here minus the coffin because the coffin never made sense in that scene anyway:

Saw it at the show and it scared the. heck. outta. me! In fact, it was my best scare at the show. It's really loud and she's horrifying. It's at Time Stamp 3:41
Now, there was a cheap prop I got years ago somewhere (Spirit?) anyways very similar in effect and much cheaper. If you hacked in a good set of speakers you'll be pretty close. It was stuck in a wall of chicken wire, blucky bones and Great Stuff:

Here it is in a very old and boring video of mine so do yourself a favor and just skip forward to Time Stamp 2:50:

Here is a link to a post on HF that hacks a DVD player. I used this method for my DVD player to work with my self built asylum door & Hi-Rez's dvd. I got a picaboo F103 and a sensor mat and it worked great for this past 2010 Halloween haunted garage.
