Thread: update on the spirit twins

well it has taken way too long to get this far but we do have to work for a living
i finally got the body done and pretty much ready to paint and detail
here are a few pic's



i used clear tubing great stuff painted black and used white garbages for the skin was a great idea i saw while looking through stolloween's site and was waiting on the right prop to try it on. turned out really well will get some more pics up when i finish the paint job if it ever quits raining here

looks very alien-esque. Did you put the white garbage bags over the black great stuff and put a blow torch to it or something? How did you get that effect? And what exactly is this prop gonna be when its all grown up?

i panted the tubing and great stuff first you dont have to but i went ahead and used it as a primer going to spray it with black latex paint and then dry brush for the details. as for the garbage bags i just wraped around and used a heat gun on low and melted away. where i had open areas the bags opened up on there on or i jusd used a pair of sissors to help it along. i liked the detailing better than what i have gotten using hose and latex. as for what it will end up being will look like two sprits comming out of the ground here is a pic of the begging
