Hello!

Does anyone have any information concerning this year's new life size animated Gemmy props? I've seen some rumors going around regarding new models for this year. If you know anything about confirmed or possible new Gemmys please post.

(I'm new to the forum and I'm enjoying myself already, but if I'm doing anything wrong please point me in the right direction!)

Yes. I suspect that I and others will be posting information as it comes in...Not much really NEW yet, but stay posted to this thread.
It will be updated soon. It's still a little early. Most suppliers haven't released their catalogs yet! What rumors have you heard?

The rumors I have heard were from a wholesale website that has a few new props, that I have never seen before. They look to be made by Gemmy and seem to be new for 2011, not sure if they are just prototypes for a new line of figures.

what's the link? The stuff I've seen so far has just been rehashed ideas, and cheaper imitations of previous designs. Are you referring to the stuff at jmarcus?

Yes, I am referring to the stuff on that wholesale site. Most of the props seem to be created using old designs but seem to still be new for this year. An example would be the Mr. Zombody, which they have done similar ones such as crawling man from last year. In saying that the Flakey Francis figure I have not seen before.

No worries it's in the bag...It's confirmed. Ghostface will be one of two new licensed figures. $250 at Spirit.
The information regarding the other licensed figure is not yet known. I wonder if they'll be two version of Ghostface...like that burlap design?

am still hoping some day for a life size jack sparrow

This year I won't believe anything till I actually have some proof. If it's true about Ghostface that would be awesome. That's the movie icon that got me into horror in the first place.
