Are you able to see the inside of the torso at all through the top ? I am curious what the inside looks like as far as if it is smooth or rough ? Thinking about possibility of slicing one in half and turning it into a mold .

HEY STAY AWAY FROM MY BODY SUPPLIER!!! Just kidding!

I have a guy in my area that I get that same torso from. And removing that foam isn't much fun either. I've been wondering if there was a chemical that would eat the foam but leave the body shell unharmed.

How good of a deal did you get?

Mine were $12.50 each and I was thrilled to get them for that much when I bought em.

I got very lucky last year, my kid's school had some unused mannequins that someone had donated. I asked nice and they gave them to me...

I'm using one of the torsos for my Weeping Angels statues (from Doctor Who). I'm casting it by coating the outsides with paper mache (using aluminum foil as the first layer to release it). I cut up the sides to remove the mannequin form, then rejoining the seam.
