Anyone know where to get a black crow that is realistic looking? I found some on EBAY and Amazon but they are really cheap looking.

Definately a Raven! I have seen many, and all are pretty cheaply made.
Find one with real feathers and posable wings. I found a pretty good one at Spirit. I animated the head on mine so it turns side to side. Do a search, because I have seen an awesome animated Raven someone else made on this site.

My favorite ravens are from Oriental Trading. They look pretty realistic, and they have good feathering. One also has thick wire in the wings for posing.
Oriental Trading Feathered Crows $14.99 (for the pair)

I got one last year from Minion's web. I got the larger one and the quality is good.

Say now, TK421.....That looks like a great raven! And not a bad price for two of them. It is hard to find one well made. I saw some at one store last year that had so few feathers it looked like someone had started to pluck it like a chicken!
I also saw some"Ravens" that looked more like black doves. Thanks for the link!

I use Raven/Crow Decoys from Cabela's (not cheap at all), only because i had a gift card.

I agree TK421, those ravens do look good from the picture and at a good price.

Short of taxidermy, I haven't seen a bird of any kind done well. A suggestion would be to buy styrofoam insulation from a hardware store, feathers from the craft store, black marbles for the eyes, cloths hangers for the legs and feet and make the beak from your foam covered in dry wall mud and paint. I made an evil kitty much the same way with fake fur, fishing line for the whiskers, red marble eyes and a LED light that lit the eyes and whiskers - and panel nails for the teeth.
