Hi everyone, I'm trying use a set of eyes hacked off a shaking hedge monster. I can make them light up with simple battery power, but I was wondering, can I make the "flash" on and off. If so how?
Any help would be appreciated.

this may not be exactly what you originally needed but may I suggest our flicker module?
you can hook up any 12V rated LED circuit to it and it'll get it to flicker. You can hook up multiple lights to it --- up to 50 LEDs (20mA) if you wanted to.

Try this on. The link is for a simple PIR Security Light hack that allows you to use the PIR as a switch for lower voltage props including LEDs & eyes! I'm using this for my Madame Leota tombstone this year. Find a PIR light that has a "Test" setting which turns on & off with the motion and has no delay to turn off. Then set the PIR in an area near your visitors and run the "switch" wires back to your lit up eyes. Whenever people come near, the eyes will light up or appear to open!
I'm going to combine this with the hollowed out "following" eye trick so where ever the visitor is, Leota will appear to be looking at them when she "opens" her eyes!
