Anyone know how make cave/ mineshaft looking walls?

I saw one post on here a while back where they made the walls using screen then sprayed them with a two part foam. I think the foam was called tiger foam

Or maybe it was this one Haunted Cave any way they are both constructed in a similar manner.

ive seen it in a couple professional haunts and if done good it looks so amazing.. ive seen a video where i think a waterfall was added to it looked so cool.

I'm getting really excited for this year. Its going to be so scary. Insane Miners everywhere, rocks shaking loose, and mysterious screams. Probably by monday I'll have room designs up.

Please keep us updated on this. This is a theme that i have always wanted to try with the mine entrance coming up to the front door. So many possibilities with this.

You might be able to create the walls using those large panels of styrofoam and then carving them with hot knife tools like they sell at Hot Wire Foam Factory. With the right tool you might be able to mimic the shape left behind by pic axe type tools. Also when I think of old mine shafts I think of the old rotting beams like in this picture. You could probably make fake beams out of the styro as well. Good luck and post some pics when you are done.

I always feel like Foam and styrofoam will just get destroyed with people walking past them and running into them. does this happen?

You could make the pointy rocks using tomato plant cages different sizes mache it or use great stuff ,also using plywood spray the crap out of it w/ great stuff for the walls.
