Thread: Crystal Head LED accent base

A freind of mine bought me a bottle of Crystal Head Vodka. It's a cool glass / crystal skull filled with Vodka. I thought it would look cool with some accent lighting. I checked out the web site and they make little bases with lighting, but they were $30.00 and you could buy yellow or green or blue or .... so, I built my own. I used a 7 color LED that I can choose any of the colors or have it alternate on its own. I used a 9V battery source to power it and modified a small plastic box for the base. I also used a piece of translucent platic to dissipate the light throughout the skull.

Lucky you to get one from a friend. Just saw this in the state store and the smaller one was $49. I had to take it out of the box to admire it lol! I have to have one. It will look awesomwe can't wait to see it!

I figured the vodka was expensive, so I never opened it (Same with my Frozen Ghost Vodka) I just have it on display with my LED Accent base.

oh that's cool. yeah I saw another member on here and he went to the signing of those at some store. Dan Akroyd was there signing the bottles. There was like a huge line of ppl waiting to see him. The car from Ghostbusters was actually there out in front of the store. gosh if i could only remember who had those pics. It was so cool though!
