What are you making the coffin for? It makes a difference as you can make so many variations. You could make it solid, or use slats, and probably about a hundred other variations. Once you figure out what you want to do it'll be easier.

Come on over to CalgEerie.com and see what's Eerie in Calgary Alberta!

Do you have access to pallets? Get a bunch of those, take them apart and save the boards. I can't think of how to put it into words at the moment, but I'm sure if you do a search for toe pincher on the forum, you would find a few tutorials for sure.

I have these old woods that were once a fence. Spookyone gave them to my Mom but I took them from her. hhehehehe.. I am looking to make mostly the lid of it. and then maybe a prop kind where it looks like it coming out of the ground.

Old fence boards would work well. See the link I gave you for help. Or do a quick search for toe pincher as titles only.

Ok well the best thing I can suggest is to do an advanced search , searching titles only, for toe pincher. That's what I did and I'm sure after a couple threads you look into, you can find something on here.

    Here's the plans I used:

    http://www.shallowvalley.com/buriedaliveplansprint.html

It's the "Buried Alive" type of coffin, not a full-length one. Old fence boards are precious - it's hard to duplicate the aged look.
    I...have many names...
