Thread: Haunt Rules or Warning Sign ideas

Ok so I trying to get some ideas of what I should put on my rules and warning sign for the entrance of my haunt this next season. I have always done just a display and am venturing into the walkthrough haunt. I am planning more scare and gore and don't want to have too many people upset or to many tot'ers unwilling to walk through because of the new theme. I will have something less scary for the little ones and the faint of heart but feel they should have a heads up before coming into the haunt.

I am looking for what you have used in the past and maybe some pics of what your signs look like .

What is the name of your haunt or what would you like the name to be?

I am doing a military bunker looking facade with a tent behind that will house 3-4 rooms of genetic experiments gone wrong, an operating room, and area with a shelf full of specimen jars and general lab type, mad scientist, apocolyptic etc...

No name yet either.

Unwilling ToT'ers will only get more unwilling if you must give them a warning about the haunt first, haha. I know I would. "Holy crap, they have to post a sign before entry, that must be off the wall in there."

I just made this sign real quick. I don't warn people personally I think its a better scare if they don't know what to expect.

That sign is what I am thinking. I just wanted to see others ideas. I notice them when I look at other's websites about their haunt but never payed that close of attention. Also I want to get a head start on my planning so it doesn't get swept under the carpet when it gets down to cruch time.

I'm a huge fan of the way Universal does their signs for Halloween Horror Nights.











I don't know what it is that makes me like them, but they're just really cool. It grabs your attention. I would try do it similar to this.

Those Universal signs are very very inspirational!
I like how they have that framework around them and the caution tape and text and... Just REAL COOL
