How would I set up the linkage on my jumper to raise the arms on my jumper like the one in the video?

    Thanks!

The third bar (in the vertical position) raises the arms. It is slightly off-center to give the arms a different motion. It connects to a rigid extension off the back side of the shoulder.
You could probably practice the motion just using some twine.

I got it to work. I only had a few small pieces of flat stock so I couldn't make the linkage, but I am using bailing wire instead(just to see if it worked). I did have some tubing and round stock so I was able to make the arms. I will post a video once I get the flat stock and make the linkage.

Hey ColenJacksdad, you did a great job! That is almost exactly like what I built up there in the first video! Excellent job! You can't see the mechanism in the one I made anymore because it has been foamed up with a torso and head attached now. Otherwise I would have taken more pics of it to post...

Glad you figured it out and it works just like you wanted it to. I bet it's easy to build now that you did it.

Yep - looks good! How will it be triggered? Will it be by PIR? How will this be wired up, have you got ideas for that yet? Keep me updated. This may be a future project, unless I find an alternative way to using a pneumatic piston.
