I've never seen this unit on the site before and it looks great! Similar to the 50 second board we've been using but records up to 300 seconds. It can record up to 4 different messages with 6 different playback settings and comes with a line out jack for amplified speakers all for $15.99!
Now just need to figure out how to control triggering the separate channels.

Very nice find. A Prop one should have no problem triggering the individual channels. I would imagine it could be programed to trigger them randomly or in series.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to buy one to test with a prop-1 and the EZ-8. Thanks Halstaff!Very nice find. A Prop one should have no problem triggering the individual channels.Nostalgia isn't what it used to be...

I'm not very electronic- savvy..... what do you do with something like that?

Sound effects are "One leg of the dog" when it comes to making great props. The more senses you assault, the greater the effect

It looks to me like there are several avenues available to trigger the device, from the pictures on the web site. I like the simple USB connectivity and the fact that it gives a long run time. If its as simple to load and use as it appears to be, electronic "savvyness" is probably not a requirement. Watch this thread and see who comes up with a simple and effective procedure. I'm sure it won't take long!Nostalgia isn't what it used to be...

This is likely the biggest development in Prop audio since the V-music player (which is a piece of junk). VERY interested to hear how this this works with the prop-1 and what code was used to trigger it.

I just received mine today, and started playing around with it. So far all I can say is WOW this thing should prove to be very versatile and useful as hell. What I've found so far
1 you have 4 triggers
2 Each can be programed with a .Wav file
3 You can group audio files on each trigger
4 when grouped you can set it to play through all or play one and wait for another trigger to play the next.
5 each audio file can be as long as you want just so that the grand total of all your files does not exceed 300 seconds. in 8bit quality 150 sec in 16bit.
6 It has a 1/8 mono output on the board. ( I hooked it up to a set of powered computer speakers and honestly the aduio quality was not that bad. not CD but good enough for a haunt IMO
So far I see lots of these in my haunt

anymore pros and cons on these, Lurkerz probably nailed most of it ... just wondering if anybody else experimented yet

Got mine but haven't had a chance to play. I'm going to try triggering it with 2 kinds EFX-TEC controllers. I also have a 25W and a
100W amp board that I want to try running the sound through. Will post results!
