So, I have gotten started on the makings of the werewolf. I have these mannequins I got for FREE!!! and want to make one into a full size werewolf.. the hands and arms are removable and positionable one leg comes off but they do not move. I started by using cardboard and duct tape,( as were some suggestions from you guys here a while back) to shape the face/head. Added first coat of sculpt a mold. Letting that dry so I can turn over and do other side....On the hands I have used those slip on witch fingers to make fingers longer and then using DAS sculpted each hand. I like the way they look like his fingers are growing out....These will be painted and furred. I plan on building up the arms a bit and maybe the legs also. I want to keep the arms and hands positionable so I will not fix them in permanent. After bulking up head w/sculptamold I will use Das and start sculpt to look like WW. I am so excited about creating this creature....... So let me know how I am doing so far.......any suggestions are greatly welcomed.....

Are you going to hide her breasts, or is this going to be a female werewolf?

So far the hands and head are looking great. I like the shape of the head as its more structured like a classic stylized werewolf. Very cool, I'll be watching this thread for sure!

Looking good so far and he hands look really good.. I also use Das for almost every project I do... You get a lot of clay for a cheap price.. Also, because it is an inexpensive clay it is very porous.. Which actually works out well because when it hardens, it does not have a ceramic look to it...Which is good if you are creating things that need a flesh like appearance.

I've been searching for a female mannequin for a prop idea I have but haven't found one yet. Yours will be perfect for your prop. I'll be watching your progress on these.
