Last year I made some decent looking eyes out of ping pong balls.

I'm looking for some gloss white balls for sculpting some zombie heads and came across this site with preprinted iris' on ping pong balls.

$2 doesn't seem like a bad deal for a pair of eyes.

they're a little larger (40mm) than an actual human eye (25mm) but they would definately work if you sprayed some high gloss clear on them.

I might have to pick up a pair to check them out.

Ping pong balls also come in a 38 mm size. I know that Sports Craft makes them in this size. Think they come 6 to a pack usually.

you can gat these on ebay:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/24-Fake-Eye-Eyeb...item3cb3704494

They're life-size (1" in diameter), but they're half round and hollow. I don't know it they'll work for, but they look realistic. The sell mostly in quantities of 8, 16, and 24, with equal numbers of 4 different eye colors, and they generally cost about the same as the pingpong balls you found. You can find these on ebay just about any time of the year.

Also Monsterguts sells eyeball blanks, a dozen for under a buck! If you are ordering from them anyway you might as well add a couple dozen. I have bought them and they work great!

Thanks for the link beggars alley. I checked it out but shipping is ridiculous. Two sets of the eyes are $1.78 but with shipping it's almost $10. I'm not paying that.

Ya that's steep. I have ordered other items and just added the eyeballs, at least then you are already paying for the shipping.
