I would buy the freaky fabric from Dollar Tree or similar type store. It's about 2 foot wide and 6 feet long. Only a dollar! 72 lineal feet would run about 12 bucks + tax. I use it for curtains in the entry way at the house.

There are other holidays besides Halloween? When did they start that?

you can buy this type of fabric from any fabric store and die it the color you want for much less $ than this its just cheese cloth material all fabric stores should have this material for even dollar stores may have this material year round as it is also used for first aid applications , check the prices at those locations Im sure you can get more for your $20 plus the cost of having it shipped to you, you can spray paint it or mud it up whatever to make the material appear more distressed

Freaky fabric is widely available in local stores at halloween time. It's only a couple of dollars- perhaps 4 bucks for the bigger ones of better quality, however it's not 84' long like this offering is. I stock up each year and now have tons of it. You can never have too much freaky fabric and it's so darn cheap. Look in your local home depot or lowes for even better landscape fabric. It's bigger rolls and a bit more money, but it goes a long way. The tan burlap type with a loose weave is excellent, cheap, and when it's torn up a bit looks great. This is a large roll of it from FC, but I don't know, I'd pass. It's too widely available locally to buy now with shipping.

One of the other posts indicated a web site I'm not familiar with, but looking at it they had the following:

If you go to the dollar store you might want to buy one or two packs and see what they're like first. I remember a lot of complaints on the board last year that whatever the cheap freaky fabric (especially the dark/black colors) was "dyed" with never dried and was put on too thick, so they were all sticky and left a mess on whatever you put them on. I bought the medium grey kind from Dollar Tree and didn't have any problems with it myself.

I need to remember to head to Jo-Ann's with a coupon for cheesecloth sometime. It was pretty expensive in the grocery store and at Lowes / Home Depot.
