    hey halloweenforum,
    I just made my first severed hands out of great stuff, and Latex Gloves. Tell me what ya think!
    for the second pic, the one on the right is the unpainted one.

    I have seen severed hands and feet at a dollar store during halloween that are quite relistic looking, that may be more affordable then using cans of great stuff that costs more to make... these are going to get damaged allot easier and dont store as well for multiple halloween uses, I applaud your craftyness , but the hands you made would maybe last one season for my haunt needs doesnt add for the cost of the great stuff when I could purchase 6 hands from the dollar store to equal one can of great stuff .

    very true, but i have already made 8 hands and i still have over half a can left. But i certainly understand what you mean by the durability of it. Although it seems to be strong, I'm unsure how long it will last.

    It's sold at Home centers and hardware stores, Walmart carries it too. Its a can of foam that you can spray which then will expand and harden to seal cracks and holes around the house or where ever. Its widely used for home-made props as well.
