Right now, I think I have the one and only glow in teh dark Bucky (note I said Bucky, not BLuckie...). If a good quality, GID Bucky were to magically become available before our next high unholy holiday, what would you guys be willing to pay?
And no, I'm not willing to part with mine. And noooo, I'm not advertising for any merchant. Just a question...
BTW, here's my favorite pic:
Cheers! Kelly.

Ha-HA, your not the only one
I've had my GID Bucky for 15 years, they've been no longer being made for at least 10 years. I love mine, even came on a stand that attaches at the tailbone instead if top of head, looks like it stands in it's own ! Cool pic, yep they look awesome just glowing at nite ! Used to freak out my girlfriend when she came home late......LoL
As for $$$ value, guess it's what you would pay for a GID Bucky over a reg one. I've only seen 1 on EBay a few years ago which I bid & won ( funny no one else saw it or bid....?! ) for a sweet $50 ( also came with a stand that attached at the tailbone ) & $20 to ship !! The guy kinda goofed on shipping but ate it.
IF i ever sold either of mine, probably wouldn't take less than $250 ( IMO - & ya i had a couple beers while answering this,..LoL), but seriously I think that might be high, but hey other than you & I, were ya seen another GID bucky !
Supply & demand !

GID? hmm $140 shipped. It Doesn't leave much for profit, but in this economy...and my light wallet...140 seems fair.
Bucky = $90 + GID spray paint = $10 = 100 DIY OR an additional $40 to have it GID painted and shipped to my doorstep.

I don't know why I'm putting my two cents in, but I have to. At this stage in the game I wouldn't buy a bucky

.........my GID Bucky's are made out of a dif material,.... the GID type hard plastic, not GID spray painted. Like the old GID monster kits they sold in the 70's

halloweenscreamqueen- takes a little extra, but there is a clear spray you can dust over hard plastic as a special primer, then paint. would help paint from peeling, but for the best a lil lite sanding over as much of the bones you can, then the clear primer, then GID paint. When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

I've used Krylon Glow with no problem, then finished with clearcoat spray. You have to spray the parts individually, assemble them, spray second coat, then finish with clearcoat spray.

Wow, what a sore spot! I can remember when they were on closeout for $50.00. I thought....ahhh I'll get one next month, then they were gone. You guys are lucky to have one. I would love to have one so bad. Those were made back when the Buckys looked good. Now a days the Buckys seem so subpar and glow in the dark rules.

I've never seen one before and it's super cool! I think I myself would go with th diy version. I bought my buckys for around $60+ shipping and think that krylons plastic "fusion" paint primer might bite into the old boy enough to give the GID paint something to attach to. Never tried fusion before though.
