Hey everyone I just finshed making a rendering of my first coffin design (it's also my first rendering so be kind lol). I'm planning to make it 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide and try some actual inlaying for the lettering. Let me know what you think and what I can do to make it better before the build starts!

P.S. I have no idea why I drew the room too but it was fun lol

Cool.. Is it for a person to lay in, or a prop to lay in?

Right now I'm thinking it will be for a prop my brother in law and I are both way to big to be inside one of these and I don't want to make it really deep for storage issues I thought of just putting a frame on the inside of the lid and attach a ram to make the whole lid lift off and bang back but I don't know I've already got a MIB and I don't want the haunt to turn into a one trick pony. I'll have to see what else I can come up with, any feedback is appreciated

I just like the look of the over wide Coffins that I've seen, they seem a bit more intimidating when you wonder what could be inside. Another idea that just hit me a couple of mins ago is that I could use the coffin as a door (either into the haunt or just as a scare box) so 4' would definitely make that easier to go through. There are just too many options out there

I like the idea of using it as a door.

I have to rethink the design for the door idea to work, it donned on me that I'm gonna have to give myself a lot more than 1' at the bottom. A monster throwing open a door and then tripping and falling on it's face just isn't that scary
