I built my pneumatic sit up Vampire and have been looking for a coffin for him to take up residence in. After months of searching I found this one. After some negotiating, I was able to get it for $80!
This prop will be the centerpiece of my Vampire display and will be running off its own 11 gallon air tank. It will be triggered by a PIR and set to a timer with its own sound board and speakers.

    $80??? What a steal.
I'm also working on a vampire/coffin/pneumatic set up. I'm still in the planning stages, but I might build a steel frame under the coffin on casters. I will hide the pneumatics and chords below the coffin. My hope is to get the vampire to "float" up to a standing position using a large 2" piston and then with smaller pistons make the arms move. I'm also toying with the idea of wings on the back of him which could potentially flap.

Nice coffin and a great price!!! I built my toe-pinchers from scratch and, after all was said and done i probably spent more than that on wood, screws, glue, nails etc etc. Add in the pneumatics and controller and my Bucky....sheesh! Great job on the sit up, it's going to be a HUGE hit!
