I used a Sharper Image projector that was fairly cheap & it worked & impressed everyone.

I'm looking for a projector for Hallowindow also. Here's some input I got from others that have used it regarding what projector specs to consider:

    video projector suggestions?

The biggest factor seemed to depend upon how much ambient light you had to deal with (eg. nearby street light, using it at dusk, or fairly dark).
