I am looking to take my crank ghost to the next level and add perhaps more 'things' to the rig... It seems like once I saw a scene with a crank ghost at the center where the person had added maybe some candelabras or something. Anyone have any good links or ideas of what to add to the rig to float around?!

I do have a few ideas to improve the FCG. For one, I think I'm going to go with as little material as possible. I'm talking one layer of really sparse cheese cloth. I'll use a fabic stiffener on the head and probably .042 music wire for the arms. Instead of leds for eyes, I thought two small fiber optic strands for the eyes. Probably red. They will sit right near the front of the face, sort of floating in that dark shadow. It ought to be extremely light, but I don't intend to float anything else with it. I have used crank mechanisms to float several things by them selves. Spider legs, large candles ala' Harry Potter, a crank fader, and even dancing legs on a puppet. There is an unbelievable wall hanging prop that someone on here built that has moving arms, head, torso. I can't think of who built it, but it really is amazing! It uses a single crank as well. Can anyone out there help me give 'props' to the right guy?

The more I watch your video Icyuod2, the more I like it. It has great movement and the speed is right for it. The extra string also helps as a slight counterweight.
    Excellent job!

I like that extra string too... nice work!

What I am thinking is adding another longer cross beam to the front of the rig and add a couple of eye hooks at the end of it. Then maybe hang a lightweight candelabra from each side and run the strings back to the central washer. What you guys think? Know of any functioning lightweight candelabra type props?
