Hey has anyone had any kind of problems with their Gemmy Jason Voorhees prop? I had decided tonight to plug him in and his arm the animated one that swings is now out of the blue jerking around and not going up and down the way it should! It worked fine for Halloween 2010 and we didn't put him out side. We store some of our lifesize props in our spare room. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks

Mine currently has the same issue as well as a few other gemmy animatronic issues. I'm planning on tearing them down and checking the wiring and for damaged gears in need of repair. I'll take a few pics during my disecting process.
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

We have several Gemmy props and all seem to work just fine. Have yet to experience any troubles - but don't know what we would do if this happened.
The only one of ours that is partially broken is the beaker on Dr. Shivers. It no longer bubbles and the liquid is gone.

You know it kills me that now so many people are coming foward to complain one way or another about Jason or another life size figure from Gemmy! I tell ya its just unreal how much money I have spent over the years! And as we all know its not some small chunk of change either! These props should not be breaking down like this! Then when you contact Gemmy they say oh i'm sorry we dont have the blue prints for that prop or sorry we can't help you! That is real great customer service for ya!
