Here's a video of how the ship turned out this year. Turn up the volume real loud to hear the sound effects, though. This was the night before Halloween. On the Big Night we add a CD playing pirate songs and fog, but you get the idea.

Haunter, the material is foam board, the same stuff many use for making tombstones--for this part of the ship 8 x 4 sheets were scored with a hot knife and sandpaper and then painted and fit together on a light wood frame. No water off aft--just cheap grainy video.
