I have a mask and I have decided to incorporate it with a tree monster. I was thinking something like a Gollum form placed in a tree but with the mask that is linked here What can I make with this mask...

So, I am asking help from the members here on how I could go about creating this 'tree monster' while incorporating the mask that is linked. The best way I could think of a form would be Gollum from Lord of the Rings where it will be lurking in the tree looming over everyone in a lengthy body type of way.

Any ideas on how to create an armature that is extremely light weight, bendable-ish, affordable, but can withstand wind at least 6 feet or more from the ground???

I would make the armature out of PVC (screw the joints once you have the pose) and on the hands attach something that you can black out and screw into the tree for support. If I were to do it I would do a pose that makes it look like hes in the process of climbing down head first ready to pounce on someone.

Pvc is going to be your best bet depending on how you are posing. If you are wanting it to arch forward towards everyone or something like that pvc won't be strong enough without some sort of support from behind.
