i am working on two props right now... 1 is a monster in a box which i have a drill for and a tall pvc pole anywhere from 8 to 15 feet havent measured it yet and im lloking for a prop to make with that!

monster in a box-
i have a box and i nailed some halloween lights to the in side of the box to light it up!

i have a drill temp a cordless drill just to get the mecanism built then ill get a corded drill...

i have 1/2 in pvc and i stuck a long bolt through that and put a nut on it and the long extra threaded piece i stuck in the drill...

its not pushing up the box lid it is skippingout on the pvc and just spinning the bolt does andyone have experience with making one with a drill or knows a good turoial iwant to use a drill for now!

I am still trying to figure out what the long piece of PVC was all about.

Your build looks real good. I like the more random movement people get by using a multi lobed cam.

hahha sorry i found out the vid had no audiio! im looking for a prop idea to make with that big thing....

a huge prop i can build to make a centerpiece to me haunt...

something that may even be able to hold my sign that says chris yard of terror i might make!

and then i wanted to figure out how to do a monster in a box

I used a pvc pipe, glued an elbow on one end, glued a short piece of the pipe in the other end of the elbow, then used it for a one-legged tripod to hold my video camera. I made and used such a device to help steady the camera as I filmed my son's highschool play.
I could tell from the video that you need this.
Just trying to help.
(What was the thing with the different sized wheels and the motor? Something you built?)
