Here's the air whips I got from Fright Props. It's a black metal pipe with thin tubes and capped on each end. On one end, it's tapped for the air valve. The air going to it is using a large diameter valve (looks like 3/8 to 1/2 orifice) with 1/4 airlines. So it's set up to get a large intake of air and it is an air hog!

Cool. And just to clarify the air whip lines themselves are tiny. I'm thinking they are 1/8 or even less.
The regulator to it is set to about 35 pounds. I'd like to go higher but there are little ToTs that go through and any higher on bare skin (ballerinas and such) would hurt. For adults, I like it in 45-50 pound range.

If I did how could we tell the real snake strikes from the whip/snake bites?
I don't like snakes. It prob. goes back to my childhood. Worrying the snake would steal My legs and arms to use for himself! Really."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"
