Thread: Will I ever find Don Post latex rats in good condition?

I've searched high and low, and the few I've found were in deplorable condition. According to one seller the small ones were retired in 1992, in which case I'm guessing that the warped and broken ones he's offering are as good as I'm going to find.

Any thoughts? I love these props and would love for them to join my mischief of prop rats. If warped and dry rotted is as good as its going to get, would it be worth my while to, in effect, stuff and mount them on a more stable material to eek out a little more time?
