I'm cleaning house, and have a couple old blenders I'm going to throw away. The motors on them still work. They are high speed and intermittent use, so I can't think of any way to use them in a Halloween prop, unless maybe there's a way to slow them down to 4 or 5 RPM. They do have lots of torque....
I didn't know of any use for a massager motor or an oscillating fan motor before I joined this forum! I thought this was worth a quick ping to you all -should these continue on to the trash, or are there uses for them?
thx!

You can use them for any number of things. Monster in a box is a good one. Like you said you will have to slow them down either through gearing or maybe a high watt resistor.
The Vibration motor can be used for shake scaring (ie shaking branches and other stuff) motion activated of course.Prop and Haunt Building Club

throw them out or donate to good will and then buy a wiper motor or a good gear motor from a surplus supplier. My experience is this works better in the long run and will be less likely to crap out just when you need it.

I would check the RPM and torque of the motors first.............but pretty much agree with what scaresburg said, mostly because too fast and not enough torque
